What is AFTEA-HEXACENTER Academy?

AFTEA-HEXACENTER Academy is a virtual school and an academic educational program facilitator. It was founded on December 16, 2017 in Woodside, Queens, New York City. It promotes educational courses and academic degree programs of host Philippine Universities and Colleges to prospective American, Filipino and foreign students who wants to pursue their academic degrees in the Philippines under Republic Act 10650 known as the Open Distance Learning (ODL) Act, Section 6 (g) and (h) of RA 11448 known as the Transnational Higher Education (TNHE) Act, RA 12124 known as Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) Act, the Commission on Higher Education CMO #15 s. 2019, Section 3 paragraphs (2), (3) and (9) CHED CMO #16 s. 2022, CHED MO #12 s. 2025 and the RA 10931 known as the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act which states that the State shall take appropriate steps to make such education accessible to all. The goal is to facilitate and provide educational services and access to high quality education through the support and mentorship of the Academy. Students enrolled in the host University academic degree programs conduct their courses online and open distance learning with the help, assistance, and support of the Academy faculty, staff, academic specialist, adviser and other service provider in order to ensure the student's academic success. The Academy is a collaboration between AFTEA and HEXACENTER. AFTEA is a non-profit teacher organization registered under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Service with EIN No. 26-1960768 and Hexacenter, LLC is a registered company under Internal Revenue Service with EIN No. 88-3973468.
